Q: Can you help me find keywords for Google or tell me what people currently search for that would help them find my business?

We don’t offer a keyword service. However, these are great articles to learn more from 3 sites we recommend.

The Google AdWords Keyword Planner is also handy.

For a very quick and easy way of seeing what people are searching for and paying for (which is what you want), go into Google and start typing in a phrase.  It is hard to get listed high for short keyword phrases as a small site so it is best to find a phrase with at least 4 words.  Google will autofill as you start typing stuff in with ideas.  They also list some ideas at the bottom of the search results.

Here are 2 examples:
“weight loss recipes” – this one is more competitive.  You will a lot of ads popping up in Google as you search for it. Stay away from this one to start with.
“weight loss recipes dinner” – this one has way less ads but still has 1 or 2.  This is what you want.  An ad or 2 in the search results means people are willing to pay for a page that offers these services or products but that it is not as competitive as the other.

Ideally you want to find one phrase per page or blog post on your site.
